GREENVILLE -- David R. Wolverton, age 88, of Greenville passed away at 2:12 pm Tuesday, September 2, 2025. David was born May 30, 1937, in Dayton, to the late Dr. Giles & Anna (Angeroth) Wolverton.
David was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Wolverton and Thomas Wolverton.
David is survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
David served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a 1959 graduate of Miami University in Oxford with a Bachelor of Economics. David retired from Greenville Federal Bank where he served as President. David was a long-time parishioner of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Greenville.
A private graveside service was held at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton with Pastor Todd Reish officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
