LUDLOW FALLS - Harold Gene Adkins Sr. of Ludlow Falls, 81, passed away April 26, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, West Milton.

One of the greatest privileges of our lives was having Harold and Ruth Adkins as our friends for the past half century. Harold is one of the kindest, caring, happy and humble men we know. His life was spent doing good and helping others. These qualities are his eternal legacy. To know him is to love him and my family knows him. I'm sure that he is now using those attributes to bless others as he blessed all who knew him while he was with us. Our prayers of comfort will continue to be with Ruth and his great family. Thank you for being such a wonderful influence in our lives.

Dear Ruth, Craig, Hal, and family,
We are saddened at Harold's sudden passing. He was as kind, humble, and likable a person as we've known. We count ourselves blessed to call him our friend. May you all find solace in knowing of his eternal progression and that you can all be with him again.

My deepest condolences go to Harold's family. Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things to go through. But the God of all comfort can give you the strength to endure (2Thessalonians 2:16,17).

Can hardly believe my brother had to leave us. So full of life and always smiling and happy when he came around. Never saw him often but loved him. He will be missed. my prayers go out to Ruth and family.
