Jodie worked at Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, Ohio, and also at GM Delphi, where she retired after 30 years of service. Jodie was a member of EUM Church in Greenville, Ohio, where she led daytime women's Bible studies, led a small group, served at GIRLtime, and donated food to the Grace Resurrection Community Center.
Those who were blessed to know Jodie can tell you that she was passionate about people, and her pets. She had a true servant's heart, always putting others before herself, and was generous to a fault anywhere she perceived a need. She lived her life as a testament to the two great commandments – to love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.

My niece, Jodie, was a wonderful example of the Lord's servant. She was kind, helpful, loving. Her hugs were special. I look forward to going Home...she'll be one of my greeters, I know. No more sickness, pain, no more parting. Thankful for her life.

I have wonderful memories of Jodie leading our Bible study. Jodie's love for God and people drew our group together and we all became close. Her love for her husband was apparent as she talked of him. I pray for Jodie's husband and family God's peace and comfort. Connie Watson
