LAKEVIEW, Ohio — Judith Ann Stevens, 71, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Sunday evening, March 1, 2015, at Fair Haven Shelby County Home, Sidney, Ohio, while surrounded by her loved ones.
Judith was born on Dec. 7, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Jack and Rosalee Grant Hofmann. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Larry Stevens in February 1995, and the father of her children, Bob Johnston in July 2001.
Judith attended Stokes Local Schools in Lakeview. She retired from Honda Transmission at Russells Point in 2009. She loved to sing and dance and also enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
She is survived by four children, Jody Johnston of Versailles, Ohio, Scott (Cindi) Johnston of Belle Center, Ohio, Robin (Tim) Jenkins of Huntsville, Ohio, and Eric Johnston of Lakeview, 19 grandchildren, Chris (Lisa) Rue, Jeremy (Jona) Rue, Shawna (Zack Bowlin) Rue, Cory (Jessica) Johnston, Brittany Johnston, Dillon Johnston, Blake Johnston, Aubrey (Calvin) Carter, Mikael Neeley, Kylie Jenkins, Timmy Jenkins, Mat Jenkins, Keisha Johnston, Jacob Johnston, Brandon, Cobb, Derek Cobb, Sara Trenor, Tesla Fox, and Bailey Hardin, eight great-grandchildren, Abbegail, Brianna, Rayna, Aaron, Destiny, O'Raylia, Hailey, and Jayce, a stepdaughter, Shari Stevens of Lakeview, two sisters, Jackie (Bob) Kellogg of Belle Center, and Jan (Howard) Lambert of Bellefontaine, two brothers, James Hofmann of Sandusky, Ohio, and John (Nancy) Hofmann of Bellefontaine, and several nieces and nephews.
Reverend Bryan Meadows will begin funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview. Visitation is Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery. Contributions may be given in her name to Wilson Hospice. Condolences may be expressed at shoffstallfuneralhome.com.
