GREENVILLE — Leo Joseph Rinderle, age 80, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 11:45 p.m., at his home from cancer.
Leo was born February 18, 1941, at home in Versailles, to the late Ernest J. and Geraldine J. (Bey) Rinderle.
Leo is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet Sue (Miller) Rinderle of Canal Winchester, whom he married on June 14, 1969; daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Rinderle) and Richard Shively of Kettering; and grandchildren, Alice Shively of Kettering and Zoelle Shively of Kettering.
Leo worked many factory jobs, including Ford Stamping Plant in Woodhaven, Michigan, Copeland Refrigeration in Sidney, Ohio, Sheller Globe Corporation (United Technology) in Union City, Indiana, and L & K Industries in Versailles, Ohio until retirement.
Leo enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting of Hot Wheels cars, M&M's character dispensers, antique wooden tools, and constructing items out of different types of wood. He also enjoyed showing classic cars.
A celebration of Leo's life will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 4 p.m., at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences for the family may be expressed through www.zecharbailey.com.
