Matthew Gantt Obituary
GREENVILLE -- Matthew James Gantt, 50 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday March 27, 2025, at 1:28 AM at his residence. Matt was born April 26, 1974, in Greenville, Ohio, the son of William J. Gantt of Greenville and the late Huldah "Jane" (Burton) Gantt.
Matt worked in property management; he loved looking at and restoring houses.
Matt is preceded in death by his mother, and his brothers, Scott, and David Meyers.
Matt is survived by his father; his life partner, Carla Weiser; his sons, Taz Gantt, Devon Gantt, and Charlie Weiser; his sisters, Joanne Williams, and Brenda Cagnon; his brother, Bill Gantt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Matt will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Cancer Association of Darke County.
