Norma Crawford Obituary
ARCANUM -- Norma Jean Crawford, age 100, of Arcanum, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Oakley Place, Greenville.
She was born on April 30, 1925 in Greenville Township, Darke County, OH to the late William and Ida (Lindamood) Pretzman.
In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her loving husband, whom she married on September 3, 1943, Donald E. Crawford; son, Neal Crawford; sister, Opal Skidmore; and brother, William Omer Pretzman.
Those left to cherish Norma's memory include her daughter, Connie (Phil) Watson of Pleasant Hill, OH; son, Gary Crawford of Arcanum, OH; daughter in laws, Totty Davis and Diane Crawford; 5 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 20 great great grandchildren.
Norma belonged to Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her time volunteering with Youth for Christ in Greenville. She worked many years in Dietary Services at Wayne Hospital, where she retired. Norma was passionate about her family. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and baking. Many knew Norma as the "Cookie Grandma". Her cooking will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, they say she is "the best cook ever!"
Norma will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who crossed her path. Her gentle laughter, unwavering support, and wise words will be dearly missed, yet her legacy of love and kindness will remain in the hearts of many.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville and again on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00-10:00 AM.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the funeral home with Steve Van Dine officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Ft. Jefferson, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to DayCity Hospice, 7601 Paragon Rd., Ste. 203, Dayton, OH 45459.
