Ralph Swabb

GREENVILLE, OH – Ralph William Swabb, age 90, of Greenville, OH, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on November 7, 2021. He was born on July 15, 1931 in Painter Creek, OH to the late Slim and Uarda Swabb (Shuttleworth). Ralph worked for Delco Products for 30 years, retiring in 1980. After his retirement, he spent much of his time fishing and camping at Brookville Lake and traveling with his wife, Evelyn. Ralph also enjoyed wood working and could make just about anything out of wood. He will always be remembered as being a jokester and the kind of person who never met a stranger.

Ralph is survived by his children, Gary (Denise) Swabb of Arcanum, OH and Sharon (Tom) Drew of Greenville, OH; grandchildren, Shanda (Renick) Brown and Aharyn (Dusty) Lavy, as well as step-grandchildren, Tanya (Chris) Clark, Chad (Lorea) Drew, and Cristal (Reed) Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Swabb and grandson, Travis Stevens. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 112 W. South St., Arcanum, OH 45304 with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Doug Baker will officiate. Burial will take place at Abbottsville Cemetery, Arcanum, OH. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

So sorry for your loss. So many memories with your Dad. Vacations with Mom and Dad, we all took together. Fun times. He will be missed. Prayers and love to you all.
