ARCANUM — Ronald L. Warner, age of 74, of Arcanum, went home to his Heavenly Father on March 20, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and firm belief in Jesus the Savior gave him peace through his illness.
Ron was born March 31, 1946 in Piqua, Ohio to Clarence and Ruth (Sease) Warner. Ron served three years in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors after 35 years. After retirement, he enjoyed many rounds of golf. Ron was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, Greenville, Ohio, for 47 years where he faithfully served in caring for the building and grounds.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ruth (Sease) Warner; step-mother, Janet (Gangwer) Warner, and mother and father-in-law Bob and Emma Stringfellow.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Sandra Warner; son, Brad (Amy) Warner; daughter, Teri (Patrick) Bailey; grandchildren, Justin (Holly) Warner, Makayla Bailey, Cameron Warner and Trevor Bailey; brother, Gary (Sharon) Warner; sister, Karollee (Art) Seeger; brother, Bruce (Melanie) Warner; sister, Cheri (Gene) Stockton, and Ted (Rachel) Warner.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 26, 2021, 11 a.m., at Faith Baptist Church, 740 Russ Rd., Greenville, Ohio, with viewing Thursday, March 25, from 6 to 8 pm, and Friday, March 26, 10 to 11 a.m., at the church. A short graveside service is scheduled following the service at Mote Cemetery in Pitsburg, Ohio. Officiants are Pastor Bill Dobson, Faith Baptist Church, Greenville, Ohio and Pastor Gene Stockton (brother-in-law), Heartland Church, Sioux City, Iowa. Arrangements entrusted to Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St., Arcanum, OH 45331.
The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful care given to Ron by State of the Heart Hospice and for the prayers and encouragement from family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Faith Baptist Church parking lot fund or State of the Heart Hospice, Greenville Ohio.

We have lost a great man. I have lost my friend. Golf partner playing golf at Beechwood won't have the same meaning for me. I know Ron would want us all out there playing. He will be in my heart forever.
