Rosalie Hahn Obituary

Rosalie Ann "Rosie" Hahn, age 83, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 17, 2012 at Versailles Health Care Center in Versailles.

Rosie was born Nov. 7, 1929 in Ansonia, Ohio to the late John Henry and Luella May (Niswonger) Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Rosie is also preceded in death by her husband, John Robert "Bob" Hahn, on July 21, 2012, whom she married July 19, 1947; and an infant daughter, Cheryl Hahn.

Rosie retired from Huber Heights Schools where she was a bus driver. Rosie was a member of the Greenville Eagles Ladies Auxiliary; former president of Huber Heights Eagles Ladies Auxiliary; former district officer of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary; former Brownie, Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader; and a former youth bowling coach. Rosie will be remembered for her sweet smile and kind spirit.

Rosie is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry Barhorst of Versailles and Vicki Hahn of Huber Heights; son and daughter-in-law, William and Connie Hahn of Dayton; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two expected great-grandchildren; and sisters, Doris Jean Milthaler of Tipp City and Dorothy Ellen Rambo of Vandalia.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle. Condolences for the family may be expressed through www.zecharbailey.com.

My prayers are with you all, Rosie was like my own "Grandmother". I so many wonderful memories of her taking care of me, playing with me and helping me grow into the lady I am today. Growing up next to them was a blessing.

To Rosie and Bob's Family, Rosie and Bob were a special couple. They had a great sense of humor and to be around them meant you were going to be smiling and laughing a lot.
