March 16, 1959 - December 17, 2016
Brian passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. Brian was loved by many and will be missed greatly by his parents Don and Susan Hoffmann, sisters Milissa Dunlap, Kathy (Tom) Pavlich and brother Tom (Darlene) Hoffmann. He was preceded in death by younger sister Megan. Celebration of his life will be held at St. Lawrence Martyr Church, Redondo Beach on Friday December 30th at 11:00 am. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rancho San Antonio, 21000 Plummer Street, Chatsworth CA 91311.

I'm so sorry I just recently became aware of Brian's passing. I met Brian in 1978 while working as a stock boy at Moskatels in Torrance. In fact, he trained me. We had so much fun goofing off while doing our jobs. I lost track of Brian after leaving Moskatels for another job, and before joining the Los Angeles Police Department In 1980. I will always remember Brian for the good times we had working together. Godspeed my friend.

Brian had many friends, many people have come and gone in Brian's life. i am proud to know Brian and was there to lend a hand when he was weak . Brian had been strong all his life did not complain much. always took the time to listen to your problems.about myself i was adopted overseas from Switzerland came to the south bay early 60's i was born march 8th 1959 i share this because Brian was born March 16th 1959 that's right we were 8 days apart same year.altho i was born far away our Paths meet mid 70's and we remained Good friends for life.Brian was a very giving person he loved the outdoors.he was a son ,a husband,a student of life but most of all he was my FRIEND . I am very sad to hear about Brian. I am grateful to have known Brian as I very much enjoyed my experiences with him. He was an exceptional person in so many ways and he will be missed. My condolences to his family.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Hoffmann family. I hope you will find comfort in God's promise at John 11: 24 & 25. Knowing there is a future for those we have lost in death can be very reassuring during this difficult time.
