Driving, under Evelyn's direction, down a maze of narrow streets, so we could take a long walk by the beach. Then going out to dinner to a new restaurant she'd like to try...or one she had a coupon for.
Whether trading travel stories, talking current events, or stocks, of course, she always had something interesting to say. As so many others, I will miss her.

I met Evalyn when I was an usher at her and Jim’s wedding. She was a close friend as well as family member for over 60 years. We will miss our long conversations, her intellect and wit. We have fond memories of our two families camping at Lake Almanor, the Grand Tetons, the house at Carmel and couples only visits to Las Vegas, Hawaii and France. In the end, she did indeed have a life well lived

I have gotten to know her through the investment group, Sum Seekers.
She gave me good advice and direction in investing for the education for
my four young granddaughters. I so enjoyed getting to know her the last two years of her life. A wonderful woman.
