May 31, 1951 - September 4, 2021 It is with extreme sadness and broken hearts that Frank Joseph Valenza passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4th, 2021. He was born on May 31st, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife MaryAnn of 43 years and six children Rose (David), Maryellen (Jesse), Robert (Amy), Margherita (Sal), Francesca (Anthony), and Matteo (Lauren); 18 grandchildren David, Jessica, Jason, Michelle, Robert, Jenny, Robert, Alexis, Roman, Meadow, Brooklyn, Sebastian, Sal, Liv, Giovanni, Lilliana, Carlo and Marliana and proceeded in death by Baby Anthony. Great grandchildren Mia, Desi, Scarlett, Robert, Brady, Wyatt and 1 on the way. Proceed in death by his parents Margherita and Matteo Valenza his brothers Carlo and Matthew and his sister Anna. He is survived by his sisters Kathy (Sicily), Paulina (Peppe) (Sicily) and Joe (San Pedro) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He moved to San Pedro in the 1970's and worked at many restaurants and then owned his own clothing business for over 20 years. He was an active member of the Trappeto Club of San Pedro and Italian-American Club. He enjoyed most of all having the family together and cooking Sunday dinners. Visitation & Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 from 4pm-7pm with a Rosary starting at 6pm at McNerney's Mortuary and the Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, September 13th, 2021 at 10:30am At Mary Star at the Sea Catholic Church and Interment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
