Christine & Garcia Family

Freddie hired me back in 2000 (I believe it was) to do his invoicing for ElSerCo. I had a secretarial service, and worked out of my home in Redondo Beach at the time. My husband and I got to know Freddie, and dearly loved this man. He was such a good person and a joy to work with. Freddie and I had so many good talks...I learned how much this gentleman loved his family - and nieces and nephews. He began dating after losing his beloved Denise, and I told him it was ok. He was so worried because he had pictures of Denise in the house still, and was worried this would bother Christine. I told him, she would understand and when the time was right he would know when the pictures should be tucked away for safe keeping. I don't know if he ever took them down because as the years went by, I got real sick, and had to give up my Secretarial business and Freddie was ready to retire. We stayed in contact at Christmas via card messages each year. He was enjoying retirement and going on cruises. Did some saltwater fishing...which he knew my husband also enjoyed. Fred was a good man for sure - a good soul, and a wonderful friend to Tom and I. Ironically, in 2010 Tom and I moved to Hawthorne. I knew Fred grew up here as did my husband. We are still here on 137th Place/Oceangate but will miss Fred. Christine, I never got to meet you and I hope we have a chance to talk. We send our heartfelt condolences - Heaven just got brighter and better after receiving Freddie no doubt about it. I added our email address... God Bless, Tom and Kathy Frankforter
