Jerzy GRUCA Obituary
1927 - 2014
After a brave battle against kidney failure, Jerzy Gruca died at the Hôpital de Hull on July 26, 2014, age 86. Jerzy will be dearly missed by his wife Irena; his daughter Alexandra (Doug) and grandchildren Chris and Alanna; Irena's daughter Nina and her children Sam and Kaitlin; Irena's sons Mark (Christian), and Peter (Connie) and their children Victor and Morgan and many others including cherished friends Ewa (Jerzy's first wife) and her husband Richard. Thanks to hospital staff, especially Dr. Verreault and nurses Emily and France for compassionate care. Visitation at McGarry, Central Chapel, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Donations invited to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
