June 20, 2017

Jill is survived by her loving husband, Tom; her four children: MaryKay (Paul) Stimpfl, Tom Freeman, Jr., Tricia (Barry) Kyler, and Jackie Freeman. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Alex, Chris, Rose and Luke. Jill was one of seven "J's" born to Rose and Gordon Judkins in St. Paul, Minnesota. Our world will not be the same without her. She loved her family with all of her heart. She was the glue that kept us close. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved dancing and was always requesting the D.J. to play The Rolling Stones. Jill loved running on the beach and making sure everyone was aware of any dolphins that may be playing in the waves.
Jill went back to school and obtained her nursing degree at age 50. She worked at Torrance Memorial in their Mother-Baby department and helped many new mothers during her career.
She loved a good joke and was constantly making people laugh and laughing at the jokes and stories others would tell.
Jill loved Jesus and she is running on the beaches of heaven.

Dear Mary Kay, Mr. Freeman, Tom Jr., Tricia and Jackie,
I was so saddened to read of your Mom's passing.
I have so many wonderful memories of Jill Freeman growing up with Mary Kay and the Freeman kids while attending St. Lawrence Martyr School!
From field trips, yard duty, Health Room and school projects, she was always assisting us!
I have that wonderful knowledge of the Great State of Minnesota because of her!!
Later in life it was a joy to run into Jill at Torrance Memorial Hospital and hear of the exploits of the Freeman grandkids!
And now seeing Mary Kay at the resort, teaching her excercise class, I continue to hear of the Freeman Family.
Jill and the Freeman Family have enriched my life and her legacy will always be in my heart!
Continued Blessings to the Freeman Family!
God Bless Jill and HAIL Minnesota!!!
❤❤❤

Dear Family, Do you remember when Mrs. Schneider and I came to your house because you won the "Confirmation Dinner" ? We cooked in your kitchen while your mother commented and had us laughing as we "struggled" to be CHEFS !! She was a JOY to know and her deep appreciation of our FAITH was always so INSPIRATIONAL. Thank you Jill for so many good moments at St. Lawrence Martyr . We all will miss your "RUNNING" SMILE. Joan Geltz

Jill's beauty and her love and devotion to her family are reflected in the beauty and kindness of those she touched most. I only know Jackie, but I see that beauty and kindness in her and have heard about it in the rest of the family. Jill helped shape who all of you are, and she will continue to live on within each of you.

Jill volunteered with me helping adults read and teaching English as a second language. She was very kind and giving and had a good sense of humor. I'm so sorry to learn of her passing.

I was so lucky to be able to call Jill my sister. She was the best sister I could have ever asked for. I've envisioned my precious sister in heaven healthy and running next to the ocean with the warm sun on her shoulders. I will miss her every day of my life.
