Joseph Leach Obituary
11/2/1925 - 3/30/2014
Joe was born in Rome, Georgia, the oldest of three sons to Madeline and Joseph, Sr. After graduating from Coors High School he enlisted in the Marines. Upon discharge he entered Georgia Tech graduating with an engineer degree in 1951. While in college he met and married Mary Eleanor Thomas in 1948. In 1951 they came to California and raised three children. He worked for Douglas, Hughes Helicopters followed by other aerospace jobs. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years, Mary Eleanor Leach. One brother, David and Dottie in Kentucky. Three children Joseph III, David (Mary Ann), Laurie (Gary) Garibay, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren all who miss him dearly. Any donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in his name. Visitation at Green Hills Mortuary Sunday, April 6 from 3-8pm. Graveside service on April 7 at 12pm at the Memorial Park.
