Pascal Kamar Obituary
Created a Kingdom of Winsome Dolls and Animals
Pascal Kamar, who founded Kamar International, one of the Premier toy making companies in the World and personally designed thousands of toys, dolls, and high-end plush animals, died peacefully Friday May 5, 2006, at Torrance Memorial Hospital. He was 83 and a long time resident of Palos Verdes Peninsula.PK is survived by a son, Christopher P. Kamar; daughters, Jenny Lynn and Laurie Lynn; and two grandchildren, Alec and Patrick.A memorial service will be held on May 15, 2006 at 11 A.M. at Green Hills in Rancho Palos Verdes. I remember the last time we went to dinner 13 years ago today. We went to your favorite restaurant in Newport Beach called "Arches".
After dinner we went back to your PV home, Alice, Joy, you and I opened up a bottle of Champizzle and had laughs to go along with the great food, and the company that evening was awesome. It was in a way our last supper all together making amazing memories that are lasting a lifetime.

On this day 8 years ago you went to Heaven. I often wonder what the first thing God said to you when you arrived?
Well P.K you have done it all, you never missed any opportunity, you took all of what life throws at you and looked it straight in the EYE and conquered it with amazing style and grace. You did it all... everything in your bucket list, and so many more things not on your bucket list as well. You lived a complete and fulfilled life.
After 8 years of not having you around to spend those wonderful and enjoyable times with you I only live with great memories and those memories are what has kept me smiling after such a long time.

Where has the time gone? 5 years ago today was the saddest day of my life. How very much you are missed each and every day. I enjoyed all the times I could just call you any time day or night on the phone and you would always be happy, "Always"! What a blessing you are.
Both Joy and I have traveled over the last few years quit a bit seeing the world as never before. We have embarked on a journey this last few years of helping as many people as we can, with zero expectations. Truthfully, it has been one of the best years of our lives. The true Joy of doing nothing more then giving is the most surreal feeling one could have. It's hard for many to understand this, but thats okay too.
Just seeing the beauty in others has given us the gift that we never understood before.
You know Dad today is the biggest party day of the Year! It's Cinco De Mayo. You have always enjoyed a great reason to party. So come on back and I'll pour you a cold bear :-)

Dear Dad,
Today, yes Today marks 4 years or 48 months better yet 1461 days( thats because of leap year in 08) since you left us here on Earth! It sounds like a life time, but sound does not compare to the feeling of you gone over the last 1461 days! My heart is still sore, but time shall heal that as well.
I "KNOW" you are in a much better place and i feel completely at peace knowing your happy, loved and enjoying your WINGS in Heaven!

Today is a day I just want to make a Joke or two on you! Yes I know its April Fools Day, but it is also "Your Birthday as well! Well that’s no Joke, because you are truly, truly missed by all.
We have had a year to remember for sure, some great things and not so great at all to be truthful with you! It's when these tough times are here I want to visit you and get a laugh or 3!
We have often remembered the last Birthday we shared together on April 1st 2006 (gosh, has it been 4 years already) when you took all of us – Alice, Jenny, Joy and me to Newport Beach, to your favorite restaurant "THE ARCH'S"! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO REACH LAURIE FOR YEARS BUT NEVER COULD GET A PHONE NUMBER THAT WASN'T DISCONNECTED. I HAD READ IN THE DAILYBREEZE NEWSPAPER THAT THE SERVICES HAD BEEN HELD AT GREEN HILLS. THAT IS HOW I FOUND THE GUESTBOOK. WE ALSO HAD MY FATHER'S AND GRANDMOTHER'S SERVICES THERE.
