To my dad's friends: Thank you so much for all of your memories and kind words about Dad. It's been too hard for me to look at the guest book before today, but now I wish that I had done so earlier. Knowing that Dad was so well-loved helps a lot. He was moving to Idaho with me and my kids the day after he passed away. He'll always be here with us, rooting for our 'boys! Know that his whole downstairs is painted blue and gray in honor of our team. I miss him terribly every day, but hearing stories about him keeps him here for all of us. Stay in touch.

Rebecca and Family: your Dad was so well thought of and respected with his classmates. So many of us had been corresponding with him during the past months. We know his dream was to get stronger and get to the BIG "50" reunion in 2009. We will treasure that memory. Can you even imagine how glad we all are that he had the opportunity to know so many missed him at the most recent reunion, April 2007? We allowed him to know that. Treasure those memories. He really was humorous and made us laugh in school. Most of all, he sent us lots of good emails. Lean on the Lord for strength during this most difficult time. Email me anytime.

I remember meeting Phillip when I was six and he was four. He lived in the second house on 19th street just off 13th Ave. My grand mother and grandfather Rogers live four houses from him. We would play games in the dirt street that ran in front of our houses. When I remet him in high school I asked him if he remembered those games we played. He said he would always remember those fun steet games and the good time we had when my grandfather took us to the picture show and to the creek at the end of the road so we could fish. He always had a great smile and was a fun person to know. I hope his family will know how much his friends in Corsicana remember him. I am sorry to read about his passing.
