We will all miss Dick -- we moved next door to the Carlton's in 1955. I remember Bobbie and Dick taking us to the beach with them -- teaching me how to body surf, having lunch and THEN stopping at 31 Flavors for ice cream before we headed home. After my parents passed away I kept the connection going -- bringing my 3 granddaughters to meet them and share a lunch of Chicken Salad and chocolate cake for their birthdays. I will always have great memories of my time on Via La Circula and the Carlton's.

Mr. Carlton was just a very special guy. I always enjoyed our banter while he handed out the St. Andrews Sunday bulletins at the first service. With a quick wit and a smile, he made the day better for all. I will miss him.
