Robert Engstrand Obituary
Passed on March 30, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. Born to Welma & Carl Engstrand on February 24, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa, he moved to Hawthorne, CA, in 1946. Here he met Martha Virginia Morris, whom he married in Sept. 1955. Robert and Martha were married for 51 loving years filled with memories of love & laughter. Robert is survived by his wife, Martha; their six children, Laura, John, Lorraine, Loretta, Robert, and Brian Engstrand; 8 grandchildren; and his brother, Bill Engstrand. Robert lived in Hawthorne for 45 years, worked and retired from TRW after 28 years. Robert was loved and will truly be missed. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits. My deepest sympathy to your family, I have always enjoyed visiting over at the house back in the day in Hawthorne and playing pool, Mr. Engstrand always made me laugh following Robert and I around. He was a good man I wish you all the best and miss you all very much.
