Sean Carroll Obituary
Sean Carroll passed away from cancer in his sleep on March 29, 2017 in San Pedro, California. Sean was a star athlete, played team soccer for years, competed in state championships and faced Manchester United's George Best. For many years he shared his skills coaching young players. Sean was a skilled carpenter and project manager. He loved the ocean and finding fossils at his favorite retreat, the Portuguese Bend Club. Most importantly he was a devoted son, beloved brother, loving uncle and best friend. He was a very special person who will be long remembered. Private Internment. Dear Carroll family,
Having known Sean since we were little kids, and lived across the street from each other, I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing. Sean and I grew to be close friends in high school, and I'm so glad I could see Sean last year at our 40th HS reunion. I thanked him for his friendship and for encouraging me to join the Miraleste Backpacking Club which helped form my deep connection with nature. Sean reminded me that he had told my mom, Cynthia, that he "would protect me" and that she shouldn't worry. Sean had a huge heart and deep commitment to his family and friends. I send Sean love on this journey, and peace to you his family.

John, Denise, Paula and Michael- sorry to hear of Sean's passing. Hoping you will be comforted in knowing that Sheila will be in heaven- there to give him a big hug. Sweet loving Sean. Sean was my first boyfriend in the 9th grade. He would meet me after every class and carry my books for me.i was blessed in 2015 that Sean called me atChristmas, we had the best talk and shared our love for each other. He said you know I still have all your love letters! I asked him to send me some and he never got to it though I know they will follow you up to heaven, where you are resting in peace with Jesus and all his Angels. I am so glad before we said goodbye we said I will always love you, which gives me such peace. Sean I will miss you and treasure our young love we shared at such a good innocent time in our lives.
