my name is bill doinoff and as going to 'bishop', steve was in my homeroom. i close my eyes and the timemachine takes me back 36 years. i still see him as well as all of us with life in front of us. as life does we go our own ways. i knew about the liquor store but the rest is amazing. i don't remeber him being mean or unkind. how many people can we say that about? i know that he will fare well and my best to his family that i have never met. good luck steve and i'll see you in that 'homeroom up in the sky'.

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I grew up around the corner from Village Spirit, & I pretty much saw Steve every day of my teenage years. He was always the nicest person, & someone who I will never forget. My deepest condolences to your family.

Mindi and Family I just found about
Steve last night. He was a great guy to work for and a great friend.
As you can tell by the guest book everybody liked him. I know he thought of all of us as his kids
who worked for him. To this day it was the best and most fun job I have ever had. I can still see Steve behind the counter at the store
although that was a while ago.
He was well like by the kids and
and the customers and that is why
he was very sucessful in life.
I wish I could be there today, but
could not get away. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the
family.

I was one of the Beer Drivers who delivered to Village Spirits all those years ago. Steve became my friend then and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He really was a prince of a man and will be missed by those who knew him. My sympathy to his family. Fond regards,

A great boss and a wonderful friend, Steve would bend over backwards to help you as he did me when I first went to work for him in 1982 at Village Spirits. I was 17. Steve gave me the opportunity of a lifetime and helped me support my way through college and in life. The times we shared are still some of the best in my life and I will cherish them forever. I've been in Japan the last 20 years but Steve found his way to visit me twice. We shared some absolutely priceless times together including some intense bowling games. He was phenomenal! His laugh was priceless, his smile God-given. Thankful that he was part of the steps of seeing Heaven in my life, my thoughts and prayers are with Mindi, Nick, Chris, and Elizabeth. Knowing Steve, he would want nothing more then for us to live life to the fullest and make him proud!
