Terrence Aubrey Poublon

Terrence Aubrey Poublon, known as Terry Poublon, passed away on February 17, 2021. Terry leaves behind his beloved wife (Catherine) Katie and daughter Renee. He is additionally survived by his sisters, Gwenn Jenkins, Brigitte Sherman, and brothers Joe Poublon, Ernie Poublon, and Bob Poublon. Born October 7, 1963, Terry was raised in Hawthorne, California. He attended Leuzinger High School where he achieved his GED in his sophomore year in 1979. He continued his education at El Camino College and eventually earned his Associates of Science - Aviation Maintenance Technology from West Los Angeles College in 1983. Terry began his career at United Airlines in May 1984 in the reservations department, moving to San Francisco in 1986 to begin his career as a Mechanic with United Airlines continuing a family tradition of working with United Airlines. Terry worked in several departments as both a Mechanic and Inspector, and eventually a Quality Control Inspector in February 2019. In his free time Terry loved to travel, visit old friends, family and meet new people along the way, visiting places such as The Netherlands, Paris and his favorite place, Hawaii. Whether hiking a Honolulu Mountain or strolling the cobblestone streets of Amsterdam, Terry loved exploring the world. Additionally, Terry had a love of food that wood classify him as an all around foodie. His greatest pleasure in life was feeding those he worked with. Those he called friends at United Airlines and most especially his family. He will be missed greatly.
