Terry Higgins Obituary
Our beloved mother Terry Higgins, 62, passed away Nov. 15, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of San Pedro; proceeded in death by father Carl Bell and niece Melissa Weaver. She is survived by her mother, Joan Bell; sisters, Carol Nelson and Katherine Weaver; sons, Brian and Andrew; daughter, Leslie; along with granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Savannah as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Terry, you will be remembered forever by those of us that knew and loved you. And you will be missed more than you could ever know. Viewing will be Thursday at McNerney's Mortuary 5-8pm and Funeral mass Fri. at Holy Trinity Church at 12:30pm, followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery. May God bless and comfort Terry's family.
I was saddened by the news of her death. Occasionally we would run into each other after Sunday Mass and exchange updates on our families and recent events. I know she liked her job and was always proud of her children.
An out of town engagement prevented us from attending the funeral. We pray God heals the pain in everyone's heart from our loss.

The Special Education Department at Dana Middle School offers our condolences to the family. Terry's cheery disposition and positive outlook often made our toughest days easier to handle. She loved working with our most challenging students and we will always remember everything she did to support our Dana MS Family.

Terry was a pleasure to work with at Dana Middle School. I never saw her without a smile and a positive attitude. She was always eager to work and accepted the most challenging assignments without hesitation. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Terry, or as we called her at Dana Middle School, Ms. Higgins, was a wonderful Assistant who always accepted any assignment given to her with a positive attitude and a smile. She personally helped me out in a challenging situation last school year, which I will forever be grateful. I was so sad to hear the news of her recent passing. My deepest sympathy goes out to her children of whom she spoke so highly of and loved so dearly. I will miss seeing her welcoming smile the most. May she rest in peace.

Dear Joan Bell and Family, I attended Mary Star school with Terry. We were in the same class together. Terry was a great athlete and I always enjoyed being on her team. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
