Vera Dillon Obituary
Passed away on Saturday morning of February 16, 2008 in the comfort of her home. She was born on September 5, 1918 in West Virginia to the parents of Frank and Estella Parker. In 1943 Vera moved to Torrance, California before moving to San Pedro where she would eventually meet her loving husband, Bill Dillon and spend the rest of her life. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dillon; and her son, Philip Dillon. She is survived by her sons, Bill Dillon and Skip (Dianne) Woofter. Grandchildren; Belinda, Bill (Adriana), Christopher, Michael, Mathew, Danny, Lisa, Kenneth and Julie; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Connor and Meghen. Visitation will be held at Green Hills Mortuary on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 1:00 - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Green Hills Chapel.
