Beverly Cody

Beverly was born in Hudson, NY to Harriet and John Chorney. She grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY and graduated from the Roosevelt Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. She worked as an RN at the Boulder Medical Center for over thirty years and loved getting to know her patients, often visiting them even outside of the office. Family was everything to Bev -- she married Arthur Roy Edwards and had three amazing children: Jeff Edwards (Marysue), Karen Lancto (Michael) and Russ Edwards (Trish), and had eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bev loved living in Boulder and she could often be seen walking in south Boulder or hiking in the foothills. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she was very active in her church, Grace Commons, and was always up for a good game of bridge or Scrabble. We will miss her giving heart and great sense of humor. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at 2:00pm at Grace Commons Church, 1820 15th Street, Boulder, Colorado, 80302 with refreshments to follow.
