Eldon Stogsdill

Eldon Earl Stogsdill, age 80 passed from this life on September 4, 2013. He was born on October 26, 1932 in San Francisco CA to Victor and Neva (Foote) Stogsdill. Eldon served in the United States Air force from 1951 to 1955. He was married to Barbara Ann McDowell on June 14, 1957 in Mesa Arizona. Eldon graduated with a BS in Physic for Brigham Young University in 1960, and a master degree in Nuclear Engineering for the University of New Mexico in 1967. He worked a Ball Aerospace in Boulder, CO for 27 years before retiring in 1994. He is survived by his wife Barbara (McDowell) of Erie CO, and children Stephen (Cindy) of Albuquerque NM, Kenneth (Elena) of Fort Worth TX, Cheryl Mitchell (Ron) of West Bend WI, Susan Norris (Craig) Hacienda Heights, CA and Andrea Jones(Bill) of Erie CO. He has 15 grandchildren. He also survived by his brother Loyal and sister, Rodeana Thompson both from Eugene OR. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Boulder Stake Center, located at 701 West South Boulder Road Louisville, CO on September 10, 2013 at 10 am. Visitation will be 1 hour prior. He will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted in his name to TRU Community Care of Lafayette CO, or to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Missionary Fund and/or Perpetual Education Fund.
