My first full-time job was as a Residence Hall Director (Baker Hall) in the late 1970's. Jerry was one of the first professional supervisors and mentors I had. His wisdom, kindness, encouragement and humor meant so much to me in my early years at CU while in the Housing Department. As a grad student with a desire to pursue college counseling and student personnel work, Jerry was always there to counsel and support me. I recently retired from 40 years in Higher Education administration and am blessed to have had Jerry as a friend and mentor to help me achieve my career goals.
