When they moved to Boulder in 1975 she assisted him in his office. He retired from practice in 1998 after a quintuple vessel heart bypass. He died peacefully, at home, in his own bed with the assistance of Hospice of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. He is survived by his current wife, Kay; his first wife, Mimi and her sister Phyllis, his daughter, Karen Pagano and her husband, Tim; his step-son Ken Davidson and his wife Pam; his sister, Katie Cline and her partner, Keri; grandson, Kyle Stevens. The address is 5001 Pennsylvania in Boulder. He has been cremated. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder or the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
