My friend and composition professor, he was a great mentor to me. Many years during and after college I studied with him, and will always have great respect for him and his music. My deepest condolences for Tati, Javier and Monica.

Luis Jorge was a wonderful human being, a true Argentine. Just knowing him, getting to talk to him, drinking Argentine wine with him, enriched my life tremendously. I am very sad to hear of Luis' death. He was a fine, opinionated musician, with strong tastes and a good heart. I enjoyed our talks and his compositions, and our common love of music. We send our condolences to his family. Arthur and Tatyana
