My friend and composition professor, he was a great mentor to me. Many years during and after college I studied with him, and will always have great respect for him and his music. My deepest condolences for Tati, Javier and Monica.

Luis Jorge was a wonderful human being, a true Argentine. Just knowing him, getting to talk to him, drinking Argentine wine with him, enriched my life tremendously. May (the) god(s) have found an appropriate place for you in heaven, gran hombre; you will live on for us/me through your music and the memories you created for me. Adios. Gerd - el Aleman

I am very sad to hear of Luis' death. He was a fine, opinionated musician, with strong tastes and a good heart. I enjoyed our talks and his compositions, and our common love of music. We send our condolences to his family. Arthur and Tatyana
