Paul Morzinski Obituary

Paul B. Morzinski Paul was born January 31, 1964 in Washington D.C. to George J. Morzinski and Janice E. (Kodym) Morzinski. Paul's artistic talent emerged early in his life, while looking for classic cars out of the rear window of a 1965 Plymouth Fury wagon on family road trips. His passion for cars remained constant throughout his life. After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in visual communications, Paul's interest in photographing junkyards, race cars, and show bikes added to his visual memory. These pursuits were experienced during periods of freedom from career, which allowed for the ability to photograph, paint, explore, and create surreal artwork. Paul's passion to create his sculptures required the highly valued possession of time, and allowed his curiosity and potential to manifest. In 1989, Paul moved to Seattle, Wa, then on to California, where he resided for some years. He then relocated to Utah for a brief time, before moving to Boulder. He spent many years collecting materials and creating incredible metal sculptures, two of which were entered into an Artprize competition in Michigan in 2011. Paul's love of muscle cars, old pickup trucks and trailers is evident in his current collection; he spent the rest of his days working on all of his projects. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Morzinski. He is survived by his father, George Morzinski, his sister, Mary Ann Sarnovsky, his nephew and niece; Adam and Grace Sarnovsky, his Aunt Mary Redmond, his cousin Catherine Mary Ornelas, her husband John Ornelas, and their children; Xavier and Alexandria Ornelas.

Love & Light to Paul's Family and friends in this time of great loss.
I will forever love Paul. His laughter, quiet humor and light-hearted sarcasm, is sincerely missed. He was my best friend for many years and if he cared for you, he would you any way he could.
A truly talented artist. I pray his Art lives on. He always wanted to sell a one of his sculptures to Jay Leno. Sounds like his art may be heading to CA so, there is hope. I believe Jay Leno lives in CA.
Much thanks to his family, for always making me feel, like family. Love you. Peace be with. He missed his mother so much and now, they are together again. Glory be to our Paulie. Paul loves God, above all else.
Welcome Home.
