Ronald Brugger Obituary

Ronald Brugger went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was born in Lafayette, Colorado, on March 20, 1936, to Louis and Edith Green. "Ronnie" and his three siblings were raised in the house at 301 E. Cleveland Street. In 1959, Ron Married Melba Sheffield-Brugger at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lafayette. They raised their seven children to know the light and love of God through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. One thing Ron said several times was something attributed to St. Francis of Assisi, "Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words if necessary." He and Melba lived that concept throughout their lives. Even though they had seven children, that didn't stop them from opening their hearts and homes to those in need. Whether it was in the form of financial help, or a place to stay, no request was too big for them. He is reunited wife Melba, his parents, brothers Louis and John, his son Michael, and his son in-law Pete Lando. Those waiting to see him again are his children Michelle Lando, Paula Wilson (Michael), Edith Braun (Anthony), Susan Brugger, Lisa Ward (Charles), and Thomas Brugger. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. There will be a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Lafayette, CO on Monday, August 1st at 10:30 followed by a burial and then a reception also at Immaculate Conception.
