A celebration of life service for Carolyn Hall, of Corinth, is set for 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home- East Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 10 a.m. to service time at Magnolia Funeral Home- East Chapel.
She departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Carolyn was a retired CNA. She enjoyed antique and thrift store shopping, doing word search puzzles and most importantly spending time with her family. Carolyn loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and never failed to show up for them. She is remembered for her kind heart, strength and compassion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and had the privilege of loving her.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Shawna Smith and Sheena Gates; 4 grandchildren, Brittany Clark, D. J. Evans, Hannah Taylor and Caden Butler; 3 great grandchildren, Madeline Clark, Jasper Clark and Kowen Taylor; sister, Magdalene Roseberry; her loving companion, Marvin Derrick; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Marty Studdard; father, William Kennedy; mother, Bertha Kennedy; brothers, Jack Kennedy, Stanley Kennedy, Harold Kennedy, John Kennedy and Charles Kennedy; and his sisters, Quay Hillis and Angelene Cornelius.
