Services to celebrate the life of Dianne Pratt Hilburn, 81, were held Friday, December 5, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Henry Cemetery.
Dianne, a beloved and kind-hearted woman, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in Alcorn County on July 18, 1944, to the late Edwin Melchia and Helen Gould Forsythe Pratt. Dianne was a 1962 graduate of Corinth High School, where she proudly served as a majorette for the Warrior Band. Dianne had a fulfilling career, working as a bookkeeper for Alcorn Chancery Court and Buddy Ayers Construction Co. She was also the owner and operator of Hushpuppies Kennels, where she lovingly raised small house dogs. Dianne was a dedicated member of Tate Baptist Church and actively participated in the choir.
In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Bobby Hilburn; brothers, Melvin, Pete, Floyd, Lloyd, and Ray Pratt, and her sisters, Susie Pyron and Mae Oma "Mop" Jones.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Inman (Clay) and Julie Goodrich (Cliff); stepdaughter, Pam Hill (Charlie); her grandchildren, Will Bradley (Kaitlin), Scarlet Hall (Logan), Rope Inman (McKinley), Chism Goodrich, and Tyler Hill; great-grandchildren, Tribe Hall, West Bradley, Roam Hall, Reynlee Rose Inman, Wylde Hall, and Bentley Hall. She also leaves behind her brother, Jerry Pratt (Linda); her sister, Jane Gurley; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
