A family and friends gathering for JoAnne B. McClamroch, 82, was held Sunday, July 16, 2023, at McPeters Funeral Directors. A family and friends gathering was held Monday, July 17, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church, with services following. Burial followed in the Henry Cemetery.
JoAnne died July 14, 2023, at Southern Magnolia in Iuka. She was born May 25, 1941, in Alcorn County to the late John and Carrie Barnes. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and was active in the youth department in her early years. She started as a beautician, but most people would remember her being an Interior Decorator and a furniture store owner. She loved working with her flowers and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin McClamroch; parents; brother, John Barnes; sisters, Ruby Barnes, Tootsie Barnes, Wimp Barnes, and an infant sister.
She is survived by her sons, Blake North (Sherri), Mike McClamroch (Shirley), Charles McClamroch (Kathy); daughter, Ann Kelly (Jim); grandchildren, Jesse Harkey (Jimmy), Clint McClamroch (Becky), Chad McClamrock (Jessica), Melvin McClamrock, Taylor McClamrock, (Alisa) Jack Kelly (Jennifer), Tom Kelly, B. J. Mazurkiewicz (Mark) and Sara Beth Alexander (Nate); great grandchildren, Caison, Lincoln, Clara Mae Harkey, Eric Rinehart, Austin, Ashley, Adam McClamroch, Austin II, Alex, Ava McClamroch, Charlie McClamroch, Jaxon Kelly, Brenna Kelly, Mason Kelly, Bria Kelly, Caitlyn Kelly, Harper, Henry, Hayden Mazurkiewicz, Wells, Rory, Connor Alexander; and a host of great-grandchildren.
