Mark Ivey Obituary

Services for Mark Mathias Ivey, 61, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Tate Baptist Church with burial at Magnolia Gardens.

Visitation is at Tate Baptist Church on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mr. Ivey died Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Born in Huntsville, Ala., on March 8, 1962, he was a graduate of Johnson High School and Athens State; he attended the University of Alabama. He moved to Corinth in 1995 to work at CMC and then became human resource manager for Corinthian Furniture for 11 years before doing the same at West Fraser in Guntown. He was an active member of Tate Baptist Church. He was an avid Alabama fan and SEC football fan, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Wanda Mathias Ivey, and the mother of his son, Kim Renfro Ivey.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa Winters Ivey; sons Ben Ivey (Brianna) and Michael Moore; a brother, Michael Ray Ivey (Robin); grandchildren Jackson Ivey and Lorie Ivey; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
