Michael Walker Obituary
IUKA – Funeral services for Michael Scott Walker, 13, are Saturday, Sept. 20 at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, Nov. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Iuka Middle School gym.
Born on July 14, 2008, Michael was killed in an auto accident by a diver under the influence of drugs. He loved playing basketball, hunting, and fishing with his dad. He loved going to Awana's and Vacation Bible School at Iuka Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Matthew and Melissa Walker; brothers, Tyler Walker (Hannah) and Jacob Walker (Mary Beth); sisters, Pazlee Morris (Dustin), Macie and Mattie Grace Walker; paternal grandparents, Earl and Becky Walker; maternal family, Kathy Firth (Bryan) and Lesa Knupp; nephews, Brennan, Charlie, Cooper and Cole Walker; and nieces, Emerson, Freya, and Gryffin Morris and Caroline Walker.
He was preceded by his uncle, Eli Scott Knupp; grandfather, Robert Knupp; great grandparents, Travis and LaNerne Cain, James L "Pete" and Nedra Walker, B.C. and Nellie Rue Robinson, Robbie and George Knupp, and Barbara and Donald Brooks.
Chris Higginbottom will officiate.
