A Celebration of Life Service for Tammy Renee' TerBurgh, 54 of Bartlett, Tenn., will be Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel on 45 South with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 1 p.m. until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Dr. Fred Shackelford will officiate the service.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Renee Terburgh, beloved wife, mother, and friend, who passed away on February 26, 2025.
Tammy was born on July 15, 1970, in Memphis, Tenn., to Roy and Dorothy Taylor. She married Bill TerBurgh on May 13, 1995, and together they shared nearly 30 years of love, joy and companionship. As a mother, Tammy's children meant the world to her, and she devoted her life to them. Her love and unwavering support were felt by all who knew her. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Tammy was a passionate math teacher at Bartlett Ninth Grade Academy. She graduated from Kossuth High School in the Class of 1988 and MS University for Women in the Class of 1992. Whether family or friend, colleague or student, her generosity, kindness and strength touched the lives of everyone she met. Tammy possessed a remarkable ability to encourage others and boldly shared her unshakable faith in Jesus no matter the setting.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Taylor.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Bill TerBurgh; her children, Taylor Talley (Austin), David TerBurgh (Karly) and James TerBurgh; her father, Roy Taylor and her brother, Michael Taylor (Heather) as well as many other family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
Pallbearers will be David TerBurgh, James TerBurgh, Austin Talley, Kyle Taylor, Connor Taylor, Christian Taylor, Caleb Taylor and Yovahi Taylor.
