Amy Rebecca (Bittner) Dunlap, age 53, died Oct. 27, 2021, at her home in Fairchance.
Amy was born Jan. 24, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., a daughter of Barbara (Korzen) Mowry of Donegal and the late David Bittner.
Amy graduated from Mt. Pleasant Area High School, Class of 1986. During her school years she very much enjoyed competing on the track team.
Amy belonged to the American Hypnosis Association. She was attending the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, furthering her degree as a hypnotherapist. She enjoyed exploring her spirituality as a devoted pagan. Kind and loving, Amy will always be remembered for her beauty - both inside and out.
Amy was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. Her children will truly miss her great advice...and her no-nonsense delivery of that advice.
Amy will be sadly missed by her loving family: her children, Benjamin Stein, Dylan Dunlap, Shelby Dunlap, and Lucas Dunlap; her beloved grandchildren, Maddox Stein, Lilliana Stein, Skylar Stein, Kaarson
Dunlap, Bailey Boyd and Avery Dunlap and her mother Barbara Mowry.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her much loved stepfather, Dennie S. Mowry.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (724-887-5300 / http://www.fergusonfunerals.com).
In honoring Amy's wishes there will be no public visitation. A private memorial and interment will be held at a later date.
