Bertha I. Lilley

1943 - 2022

Bertha Irene Lilley, 78, of Scottdale, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at Frick Hospital.

She was born Dec. 31, 1943 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Arthur John and Erma Irene (Geary) Wilson.

Bertha was a loving homemaker to her family for many years, where she always made sure their needs were taken care of before hers.

She loved cows and had numerous boxes full of cow figurines and decorations she acquired throughout the years. She also enjoyed watching the Golden Girls.

She loved her family dearly and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Bertha is survived by her son, Clarence Spackman (Christine) of Connellsville; daughters, Wendy Reese (Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant, Crystal McFadden (Nate) of Mt. Pleasant, and Amy Lilley (Tony) of Ohio; grandchildren, Joni, Stella, Mary, Timmy, Clarance Jr. (CJ), Candra, Sarah, Emily, Cara, Morgan, Payton, Tyler, Ashley, Anthony (Bub), Austin (AS); 13 great-grandchildren; three greatgreat grandchildren; siblings, Tom Wilson (Goldie), Albert Wilson (Karen), Kenny Wilson (Vanessa), Ronnie Wilson (Debbie), Ed Wilson (Cynthia), and Ruth Suitor (Joe), all of Connellsville.

In addition to her parents, Bertha is preceded in death by her husband, Merle R. Lilley; daughter, Roberta Wolfe; grandson, Christopher (Bub) Spackman; siblings, Marlene, Elsie, Shirley, Arthur, Jim, and Harry.

Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425, on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment will be private.
