Donald R. Lint Sr., 72, of Vanderbilt, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Donald was born July 22, 1949, in Dickerson Run, a son of the late James W. and Laura B. (Grimm) Lint. He married Janice L. (Newcomer) Lint in 1972.
Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.
Donald will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife of 49 years, Janice L. (Newcomer) Lint; his son, Donald Lint Jr. and wife Patty Province of Perryopolis; his daughter, Sandy Lint of Connellsville; his grandchildren, Thomas Dean Jr., Bradley Dean (Krystal Flocker), Brittany Dean (Herbert Flocker), Tyler Dean (Brittany McFadden), Breanna Dean, Dylan Lint, and Donald Lint III; his great-grandchildren, Ali Dean, Brooklyn Dean, Tommy Dean Jr., Layla Rose Shipley, Logan Shipley, Adalie Flocker, Amelia Flocker, Bradley Dean Jr., and Elaine Dean; his two brothers, Frank Lint Sr. and wife Ethel of Scottdale and Billy Ebbert and wife Diane of Mt. Pleasant; his nieces, Laurie Steele, Bernie Lint, Tammy Lint, Becky Day, Jody Neiderhiser, Desiree Lint, Donna Lint, and Anna Lint; and his nephews, Frankie Lint, Bobby Lint, Mark Ebbert, Brian Ebbert, and Dale Baird. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, James, George, and Charles Lint; his three sisters, Betty Baird, Leona Cassler, and Edna Lint; and two infant siblings.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (http://www.fergusonfunerals.com).
Family and friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Greg Pelc officiating. Chapel committal service and interment will follow in Dickerson Run Union Cemetery. Love Lasts Forever!

You were always one Uncle that i thought the world of. I can and will always remember your laugh, sense of humor with my dad. He is waiting for you with those fishing poles up in heaven. There is a song called fishing in heaven and its about the Lint boys.
