Dorothy E. Kantorik, 77, of Champion, died Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the home of her son in Mt. Pleasant. She was born April 6, 1944, in Pittsburgh a daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy Stewart Elverson. Mrs. Kantorik was a graduate of Shaler High School. She received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and her masters degree from California University of Pennsylvania. She is survived by her children, Carrie Dickinson and her husband Kenneth of Cape May Courthouse, N.J., Molly Kantorik of Jumonville, Charles Kantorik and his wife Cheryl of Mt. Pleasant and Katherine Hunt and her husband William of Champion; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Cheryl Weber and her husband Ron of Glenshaw and one brother, Thomas Elverson and his wife Vonnie of Grove City. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Kantorik on July 14, 2021. Family and friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant.
