Dorothy I. Wilson, 95, of Scottdale, formerly of Iron Bridge (East Huntingdon Township) died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born June 4, 1926, at Iron Bridge, a daughter of the late Clark and Irene Noakes Gadd. Dorothy was a 1944 graduate of the former East Huntingdon Township High School. She was formerly employed in the medical records office in Rochester, N.Y. and also worked at Continental Grain in Everson in the offices. She was an active member of the Mt. Olive Evangelical Church. She is survived by a stepdaughter, June Elaine Stefl and her husband John; three step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren and her loving nieces and nephews and their families. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold L. Wilson in 2010 and her siblings, Kenneth Gadd, Mildred Loucks, Stella Echard, Clark Gadd and Earl Gadd. Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lee Maley officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Please be advised that facial masks are not required but are recommended.
