John Prinkey Obituary
John M. Prinkey, 63, of Mill Run, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital after a long year of battling cancer.
He was born Nov. 14, 1958, in Somerset, a son of Margaret Prinkey and the late Charles Prinkey.
John was a retired veteran from the National Guard, where he proudly served for 14 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandbabies. John will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him. John was a devoted father and grandfather.
John is survived by his wife, Peggy Prinkey, his children; Tiffany Mattie (James Bundy), Angel (Patrick) Henry, Bobbie (Albert) McGreggor, Jeremy Shipley, Amos, James, John and Charles Prinkey, his grandchildren; Melissa Thomas (8), Blaine (5), and Tanner (3), Hice, who were the most important part of his life, his siblings; Dave, Timmy, Patty, Carol and Jennie.
In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his siblings; Linda, Fred, and Joe.
Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME 123 S. 1st St. West Side, Connellsville (724) 628-9033 on Monday from 2-7 p.m., the time of service with Pastor Bobby Miner officiating.
