Nancy L. Soltis, 76, of Connellsvillle, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021. She was born June 24, 1945, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Edward and Ada (Burley) Addis. Nancy worked for Keefer's Personal Care Home as a caregiver for many years. She belonged to the Connellsville City Bowling League. Nancy was also a chaperone for New Haven Majorettes for many years. Nancy is survived by two sons, Jason Soltis and wife Toni of Mt. Pleasant, and John Soltis and Connie Ohler of Connellsville; a daughter, Kimberly Salatino and husband Sam (Huey) of Connellsville; grandchildren, Samuel Salatino Jr. and wife Chelsey of Connellsville, Richard Loughman and wife Melissa of Dawson, Matthew Loughman and Jen, Andrew Loughman, and Gage Loughman, all of South Connellsville; great-grandchildren, Lincoln Salatino of Connellsville, Emily, Elliott and Elijah Loughman of Dawson; brothers, Richard Addis and wife Roseanne of Connellsville, Jesse (Jim) Addis of Connellsville, and Chuck Addis of Connellsville; and one sister, Louise Hertznell of Juniata. Nancy was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends Tim and Sandy Fung of Honolulu,
Hawaii, and their children Timothy Fung of Pittsburgh, and Jenny Fung of Virginia. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband, John J. Soltis Jr.; a daughter, Sheila Loughman; four brothers, Francis Addis, William Addis, Donald Wettgen and George Wettgen; two sisters, Carol Estrada and Betty Foore. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville, (724-628-9033) on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:30 a.m., the time of service with Pastor Matt Goldsberry officiating.
