Pearl M. (Ray) Adams, 73, of Scottdale, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, with her loving family by her side.
She was born Jan. 22, 1948, in Whitsett, a daughter of the late Robert F. Sr., and Sarah E. (Strothers) Ray.
She graduated high school in the Class of 1966 from Scotland School for Veterans' Children.
For many years, Pearl was employed through the state government where she handled taxes.

Pearl made an impact on so many and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Pearl is survived by her children, Christine Fletcher and husband James, Robert Ray, Theresa Shipley, Wayne Adams and wife Missy and Rose Thomas and husband Tom; numerous, beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, George Jones, David Jones, Allen Jones, and Jeff Jones; sister, Lena Pleva and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Adams; sons, Brian Benedetto Sr. and Michael Benedetto and numerous siblings and family members.
