Robert Landymore Obituary
Robert S. Landymore, 99, of Scottdale, formerly of Dawson, died Tuesday, June 1, 2020, in the Always Care Nursing Home, Connellsville.
Mr. Landymore was born May 11, 1922, the son of the late Charles A. and Josephine M. Myers Landymore.
Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army who served during World War II. After returning from the war, he became a funeral director and opened the Robert S. Landymore Funeral Home in Dawson. He was a member of the James Cochran Lodge and the Uniontown Lodge of Perfection.
Bob is survived by his loving family: his daughter, Rhonda Landymore; his grandchildren, Robert Hone, Eric McFadden and Justin Bittinger; and by his great-grandchildren, Skylar Hone and Robert Hone Jr.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Landymore; his second wife, Wilma Hoke Landymore; and by his daughter, Susan Marple.
Honoring Bob's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the Green Ridge Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant, Pa.
