Robert Winemiller Obituary
Robert F. Winemiller, 88, of Connellsville, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at his home. He was born Dec. 26, 1932, in French Creek, W.Va., a son of the late Raymond and Winnie Linger Winemiller. Mr. Winemiller was a graduate of Connellsville High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Robert was employed for over 30 years at Anchor Hocking Glass. He was a member and past deacon of the New Beginnings Church of God of Prophecy in Everson and where he also pastored the church for a year.
He is survived by his wife, Garnet Cook Winemiller; two sons, Robert K. Winemiller and his wife Denise of Olathe, Kansas and Randy Winemiller of Normalville; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Sam Barber of Virginia and a sister in-law Marge Winemiller of Dayton, Ohio. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Luther, Richard, Donald and Roger Winemiller and sisters, Geneva Drost and Virginia Barber. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jay Croyle and Rev. Ira Logan officiating. Interment will follow in the Normalville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the New Beginnings Church of God of Prophecy, 910 E. Painter St., Everson, PA 15630 in memory of Robert F. Winemiller.
