Walter Carnes Obituary

Walter George Carnes Jr., 53, of Scottdale, passed away Tuesday evening, May 31, 2022, in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born Feb. 22, 1969, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Norma Jean Behanna and Walter George Carnes.

He was a graduate of Southmoreland School District. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Walter is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his loving wife, Bobbi Carnes of Scottdale; his stepdaughter, Shaylinn Hileman of Holiday Park, Donegal; his brother, Jeffrey Carnes of Scottdale; his sister, Tracy Coneway and husband Robert of Uniontown; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Walter's family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Pa.,15683 on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at which time his funeral service will begin with Pastor Kenneth Biller officiating.

Committal services and interment will follow in Cochran Cemetery, Dawson.
